Beta 1.2


Changes:

  • item entities fly upwards when submerged in solid blocks
  • a nice handy progress bar showing the progress of rendering images
  • the rendering screen has two buttons showing when the rendering is finished - one that quits to the menu, and one that opens the image in an image viewer
  • pressing the ESCAPE key while in inventory closes it
  • switch to an area-based ore generator, similarly to how Vintage Story handles it
  • the player texture rotates depending on the current direction
  • added the "Rocky wasteland" biome
  • added a survival inventory

The new ore generator is a concept borrowed from Vintage Story. Basically, instead of all ores generating everywhere like it is done in Minecraft, the world is split into 100-block wide areas with each having its own unique set of ores.

IMPORTANT: This version bumps the level format to 13, meaning that older worlds will not load properly!
