Yooo! Dim has now over TEN THOUSAND lines of code! Enjoy!

Changes:

  • removed custom counter colours, since the item count is no longer rendered on top of the item for a while now
  • fixed a bug where breaking a block and then moving the cursor to another block made the breaking animation lag infinitely and not break anything
  • fixed picked up items appearing in invalid slots
  • added more splashes
  • added water and lava. They flow infinitely and get smoothed in corner positions
  • lava generates in the bottommost parts of the world. Water does not generate naturally yet.
  • fixed blocks not being updated each second
  • added a clock window that shows you the time in a human-readable manner. You can access it by pressing 'K' or using the /clock command
  • made biomes wider
  • you can now choose from a limited set of block resolutions. They are hardcoded for now. You can cycle them in-game by using arrow keys

Also, there is a bug that makes the game not run on Windows. I am working on that, but until it is fixed, to play the game on the worst operating system, unpack the jarfile, go to that directory in the command prompt and type:

java -cp .;lib\jaylib-5.0.0-0.jar;lib\librlimg.jar com.glowiak.dim.DimApplet

Remember that Java must be in your %PATH%.
