A month in the making, the big 1.16 release is out (if anyone cares about this game).
Additions:
- pressing 'B' closes the current window
- windows can now be pinned. Pinned windows are half-transparent, they don't disable mouse offset and are persistent across level saves. Tile entities, such as chests, furnaces and pouches cannot be pinned yet.
- added the furnace block and its UI. It requires you to provide a fuel, and a pattern to smelt to yield output. Right now you can only smelt sand into TNT, which is temporary.
Fixes/Changes:
- fixed the Texture Packs screen causing the game to crash on Windows
- Water, lava, obsidian and bedrock cannot be broken during TNT explosions
- added some splashes and fixed some splashes
Internals:
- Updated the underlying Raylib/Jaylib to version 5.5, which (at least on my computer) drastically improves the game performance
Fuels: You can use the wood block to smelt 2 items, a brown coal lump to smelt 5 items, a black coal lump to smelt 15 items, and a coal block to smelt 100 items.
Also, this release bumps the level format to 28, so you cannot open your old worlds. Sorry for inconvenience!
